Open House

The Children's House recently completed their first year of operation in May.

The department hopes to hear more public feedback on landscaping enhancement concepts for the project at Thursday's open house, set for 6-7 p.m. at Linford Elementary, 120 S. Jefferson St.

The project aims to identify a sustainable system of motorized transportation on the Pole Mountain unit in order to provide diverse recreation opportunities for everyone, regardless of transportation.

The Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department will hold an open house on Wednesday, May 18 to gather public input on the Cahill Park Friendship Playground.

“The question is: what do we do with this dirt?” says Waddell. “So our artist said, ‘Well, why don’t we use it as a sculpture medium?’”
