Brackets and seed released for NCAA Wrestling Championships

Winning a tournament title just isn't that easy.

Yesterday, all the teams were announced for the NCAA Basketball Tournament and Wyoming has Duke University winning it all.

It was March 14, 1987 when junior Fennis Dembo thrust himself into the national spotlight, as he led the Wyoming Cowboys past UCLA in the NCAA Tournament.

Well, it wasn't the outcome Wyoming fans wanted today. But, at least the Cowboys accomplished a lot this year. 25 wins, a Mountain West Tournament championship, and a bunch of fun regular season wins.

The Wyoming Cowboys run in the NCAA Tournament was short-lived. They lost to the Northern Iowa Panthers 71-54 Friday in Seattle.

The build-up has been big, but now it's time for business. The Wyoming Cowboys take on the Northern Iowa Panthers in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Friday.

Friday should be considered a statewide holiday. In fact, I'm not sure why it hasn't been officially declared yet.
