A full necropsy is planned at the Wyoming Game and Fish Wildlife Health Laboratory lab in Laramie.

A lockdown at Carey Junior High School has been lifted after Cheyenne police failed to locate a reported mountain lion in the area.

Luckily, no one was injured when a young, male mountain lion wandered into a neighborhood in east Cheyenne this (Thursday) morning.

At first this may appear as animal cruelty, until realizing it's self defense. This guy might be good to have along if a Wyoming mountain lion comes after YOU.

According to Laramie PSAP, a mountain lion has been spotted in LaBonte Park headed south at 2:15 p.m.
