It’s just about the sweetest thing when your husband and kids give you a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day. A thoughtful husband will get them from a store. A thoughtful kid will get them from your yard. Either way, the sentiment is adorable and always well received.

Congratulations to Karen Lundahl who our readers choose as their favorite Laramie mom in our Mother's Day Tribute! A personal friend of Karen's, Ami Cass, nominated this wonderful Laramie mom who has been a parent for 19 years. In that time Karen has adopted and cared for 11 children!

Alexander’s Fine Jewelry recently asked the students of the various elementary schools in Laramie to create a piece of artwork that depicted what they loved most about their moms. The invitation was extended to all elementary schools in Albany County; participating institutions include Slade, Beitel, Linford, Rock River and Spring Creek Elementary, Snowy Range Academy and the University of Wyoming Lab School.
