The Cheyenne man accused of shooting and killing his friend pleaded guilty Friday in Laramie County District Court to one count of involuntary manslaughter.

A Cheyenne teen has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of his 19-year-old friend.

An arraignment is scheduled Friday morning for the Cheyenne teen accused of shooting and killing his friend in a garage on Drew Court a month ago.

The Cheyenne teen believed to have pulled the trigger in Saturday night's fatal shooting at 1008 Drew Court has been arrested.

Even though family members of the victim say Saturday night's shooting was an accident, the Laramie County Sheriff's Department says the case is far from closed.
