Lunar Eclipse

October's full moon--AKA blood moon-- is happening Sunday; it's the first full moon of Autumn. The next full moon in November will be a lunar eclipse!

Sunday night bore witness to the dark side of the moon when earth's shadow blocked the moon, creating a total lunar eclipse.

Wyoming is typically a great spot to be when any sort of events are happening in the night sky given how wide open the state is, just so long as there's not so many clouds to block the view of course. But later this week, we're going to have an awesome view of a long and nearly total-lunar eclipse.

There is a chance that something special could be happening in the sky over Wyoming on America's birthday. There's a lunar eclipse that will begin the night of July 4th.
