CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming Governor Matt Mead is set to unveil to Lawmakers Tuesday budget cuts he says will likely require a small number of state employee layoffs.
The jobs lost were in departments including finance, materials management, sterile processing, radiology and staff services. The administration has reduced its workforce about 15 percent in recent months.
Tuesday marked the first of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management's series of public comment sessions known as scoping meetings. A report on the comments will be published later this year.
