"Once you lose your visual horizon, your ears start to play tricks on you and you can't tell what way is up, Arthur said. "I've had people in the simulator completely turn it upside town because they weren't checking the instruments."
“If it was eliminated it would be hard for Laramie to have any kind of air service at all,” says Jack Skinner, Laramie Regional Airport manager. “A lot of these rural airports rely on subsidies to connect to a major hub like Denver.”
