While many people will be gathering with loved ones during Christmas for home-cooked meals, that's not the case for everyone. If you're far from your family, new in town or in the middle of a major kitchen remodel, you may be opting to dine out at some time during the holiday. If that is the case, here are your restaurant options in Laramie.

By early February 2013, an iconic stop on Grand Avenue in Laramie will have a different look and tenant. That's when The Library Sports Grille and Brewery will be leaving its present location.

Don't lie to your mom, tell her The Library is leaving. Lease negotiations between the owners of The Library Sports Grille & Brewery and the owner of the building at 1622 E. Grand Ave. began six months ago. The only agreement reached however, was to mutually part ways. A non-renewal notice was signed on October 31st, meaning The Library will be out of its current location on February 6th.

If you've been to downtown Laramie recently, you may have noticed a new burger joint on Third Street. Burger Xtreme opened on October 6 with a wide variety of burgers on their menu.

Looking for a cheap lunch? Jimmy John's in Laramie is participating in Customer Appreciation Day today (Sept. 20) and offering sub sandwiches #1-6 for $1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Burger King on the corner of 3oth and Grand in Laramie will be a pile of rubble by this weekend. Don't worry though, a new BK will be opening at that location in December.

An up and coming Swedish singer and songwriter will play at The Crowbar and Grill on Saturday, September 1st. Sophia Talvik will begin the show at 8 p.m. Saturday night.

A 24-hour Mexican restaurant with a drive-up window is now open in Laramie. Almanza’s Mexican Food recently opened at 2615 E. Grand Avenue.

A few weeks ago, during the public hearings on liquor permits in Laramie, we learned that the owners of Luciano's Italian Restaurant were considering relocating the establishment to the old Winger's location on Grand Avenue.

Downtown Laramie welcomes two new restaurants into the historic district this week. The Crowbar and Grill, located at 202 South 2nd Street and Roxie's on Grand at 221 E. Grand Ave.
