Laramie turned out to enjoy the 150th anniversary kickoff event on Friday.

Laramie is getting ready to celebrate its 150th anniversary this weekend, with the kickoff beginning this Friday, May 4 at the Wyoming Territorial Prison.

The kickoff, hosted by the United Way of Albany County and the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance, was held last night at the Hilton Garden Inn and brought together Albany County residents interested in making a difference in other’s lives.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation’s Harney Street construction kickoff event scheduled for Thursday, March 9 has been canceled due to weather.
