From the grocery store to the gas pump, inflation and continued supply chain woes are impacting us all, and the Cheyenne Police Department is no exception.

Senator John Barrasso recently spoke outside of the Senate chambers to address rising gasoline prices, inflation, and more. As always, the Wyoming Senator made no bones about who he believes to be at fault for these high prices.

Many outlets have stated that Biden's State of the Union was a success, but Wyoming's leaders beg to differ.

Biden declared Tuesday night that he and all members of Congress, whatever political differences there may be, were joined “with an unwavering resolve that freedom will always triumph over tyranny.”

President Joe Biden finds himself in a split-screen presidency as Russia starts to invade Ukraine.

Barrasso has continually pointed the finger of blame at President Biden for higher prices on things like gasoline, holiday meals, and more. Now, Barrasso is saying that President Biden has driven inflation to a 40-year high.

He adds that the new variant could also worsen supply chain disruptions.

McDonald’s, Sheetz and Chipotle are just some of the latest companies to follow Amazon, Walmart and Costco in boosting wages, in some cases to $15 an hour or higher.

The figures suggest inflation is mostly subdued, despite solid economic growth and rising wages, which typically push up prices.

The big jump in consumer spending is encouraging because it suggests that the overall economy had solid momentum going into the April-June quarter.
