After finishing work or class, one of the best ways to relax is to find some friends and a pool table (and perhaps even a have drink, depending on the location). With a variety of places to play pool in town, you can pick depending on who is coming along for the game.

Looking for a place to play ping pong or foosball? Well you don’t need to get on Craigslist to look for a table to purchase. Instead, head to the Library Sports Grille and Brewery or the University of Wyoming Union. Both places have tables available for use, and ping pong and foosball are even free at the Union.

Not wanting to risk a sunburn playing tennis? Racquetball provides a great alternative to lathering on loads of loathsome white liquid. Not sure how to play racquetball? Since it is a little more complex than simply hitting the ball off the wall, you may want to consider refreshing yourself on the rules of the sport before heading into the gym.

Since Laramie is “unswimable” for the majority of the year, it’s good that there are three indoor pools in town.

If you are in need of something to do this coming weekend, look no further; UW is bringing performers to campus from Comedy Central for a FREE night of laughs that is open to UW students as well as the general public. The show gets started Friday, April 13th, at 9PM in the Wyoming Union Ballroom and will feature three performers from Comedy Central.

Singers, dancers, lights and lots and lots of action. That's what visitors can expect when the high-energy performance group Cirque Dreams brings their exclusive stage production of Pop Goes the Rock to the Civic Center.

Looking for a way to pass the windy winter? The gyms at Half Acre and the Laramie Recreation Center can become a summer oasis when the gyms are turned into volleyball courts. Going to the gym to play volleyball can be much more exciting than simply going to the gym to work out because you can bring all your friends with you. So send out a Facebook message or a tweet and get a group to the gym!

Friday the 13th is going to be quite lucky for anyone looking for great musical entertainment, as the Gryphon Theater at the Laramie Plains Civic Center presents Screen Door Porch. The Alt-Country, folk and blues band is based out of Jackson Hole. Band mates Seadar Rose and Aaron Davis have released their Sophomore Album, The Fate & The Fruit.
