Wind gusts of up to 65 mph combined with the snow on the ground from this week's storm are making for hazardous conditions on Interstate 80 between Laramie and Rawlins.
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued High Wind Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories for southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle this weekend.
Heavy mountain snow combined with wind gusts as high as 60 mph could make travel "very difficult" in southeast Wyoming Friday and Saturday, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says.
Lingering travel impacts could last as long as Thursday across many portions of the region and even Friday for portions of I-80 west of Laramie to Rawlins.
