The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says another round of severe storms is possible today, followed by hot summer weather starting on Sunday. The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says severe storms are possible across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle today. Possible hazards include large hail, strong winds, and possibly an isolated tornado or two...

The weather map shows Cheyenne at "enhanced risk" of severe weather, while Laramie is in an area classified as at marginal risk.

Up to tennis ball sized hail will be possible with the strongest storms in the late afternoon while 70+ mph wind gusts will be possible.

The Cheyenne Offie of the National Weather Service is forecasting a "big weather" day, with strong winds, large hail and possible tornadoes.

The agency says possible hazards include tornadoes, winds of up to 80 miles per hour, and baseball size hail.

Very large hail (possibly to baseballs), downburst winds to 70 mph and a few tornadoes are possible Wednesday afternoon through mid evening for the area.

The watch will take effect at noon today [June 12] Heavy rain and small hail are also possible.

Heavy rainfall and frequent lightening are also possible.
