The Wyoming Department of Education released data on high school graduation rates across the state. While Albany County's numbers were comparable with the state average, the school district is looking to student engagement and career readiness strategies to boost graduation numbers.
A life-skills class put together by a number of Laramie organizations is helping recently-graduated students to transition from going to school to living as an adult.
Weigel said all Wyoming school districts will have to review and revise their current graduation policies to meet the new Wyoming Department of Education rules and regulations.
