The Wyoming State Geological Survey has a rare mammal fossil on display this week that was discovered in the Green River Formation near Kemmerer in 2016.

The Bureau of Reclamation and Wyoming's archaeologist are working to remove the fossils before the reservoir rises from spring snowmelt.
