A 28-year-old Wyoming woman is dead after rolling her vehicle on the Wind River Indian Reservation Friday evening, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Terri Smith heard the charges against her and pleaded not guilty during her initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Teresa McKee in Lander last week.
April 9, 1884, a woman purported to be Sacajawea died on the Wind River Reservation near Fort Washakie, Wyo. 134 years later, historians still question the legitimacy of the legend.
