Fall isn't just about hunting. The Wyoming Game and Fish want you to know that fall offers great opportunities for fishing in the fall season throughout the Cowboy state. Walleye fishing at Alcova, Glendo and Pathfinder reservoirs in the Casper Region are expected to be good, especially for bigger fish.

Since most of the state is either prairie or pine, you need to know where to look.

The Fall Fest will be returning to Laramie this October 22, thanks to the Laramie Foster Closet.

The Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site will be hosting its 12th annual Kids' Pumpkin Walk on October 2 from 12-4 pm. Admission is $3 per adult 18+, which will support this family event.  Children are admitted for free. You'll want to get out and enjoy the nice weather over the next few days, as the remainder of the week looks to be warm and dry with highs in the mid-70s to upper 80s.

Happy Fall, Wyoming! As the season changes over, so do a lot of other things. We've already seen at least some slight temperature changes as it cools off and there's soon to be plenty of Fall-themed events in and around Wyoming that lead up to October and November and in the process, being named one of the top states in the U.S. to visit during the Fall.
