During her address, Cheney criticized the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 Relief Bill, and also offered her opinion on the Biden Administration’s open borders policies.
Lummis argued that the bill was passed “without Republican input” and said that it “contains millions of dollars in spending completely unrelated to COVID-19 relief.”
The overall bill, President Joe Biden’s top legislative priority, is aimed at battling the killer pandemic and nursing the staggered economy back to health.
The House is expected to pass a $1.9 trillion pandemic relief package late Friday that includes $1,400 checks for most Americans and billions of dollars for schools, state and local governments and businesses.
