According to WDH spokesperson Kim Deti, "Deaths among Wyoming residents are added to the state’s total based on official death certificate information and location of permanent residence. If death certificates do not describe COVID-19 as either causing or contributing to a death, those deaths are not included in the WDH count."
There have been 26 new COVID-19 related deaths in Wyoming, bringing the total number of COVID-related deaths to 464. Of these deaths, 97 have occurred in Natrona County, 5 of which have occurred in the last 24 hours.
The Wyoming Department of Health reported 171 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 34,883. Natrona County currently has 297 active cases of COVID-19.
7 new deaths have been confirmed by the Health Department over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Wyoming deaths to 328. Of these deaths, 63 have occurred in Natrona County.
