As Thanksgiving passes it's time to get out the Christmas decorations and deck the halls! Laramie Live wants to encourage people around town to decorate for the holiday season so we though it would be nice to throw out a little incentive to do so.

If you have never heard of the Christmas Wish List contest that goes on in Laramie every year you have been missing out. For decades Y95 Country 95.1 FM in Laramie has run this special contest running up to Christmas and it is one of the biggest of the year. FACE AIDS, a student based group will be hosting their annual Friday Night Fever Dance Marathon tomorrow night starting at 6pm! The dance marathon will run through Saturday morning, November 12th and will be held in the lower level of the UW Student Union.

The Biodiversity Conservation Alliance (BCA) has it's annual Badger Ball Friday, September 23rd from 8-11 p.m. at the UW Arts and Sciences Auditorium. Tickets at the UW Union Information Desk and the Fine Arts Box Office.

LANDER BREWING COMPANY WINS STEINLEY CUP Jim Mitchell will have to find a place to display the hardware won at Saratoga’s 16th annual Steinley Cup Microbrew Festival and Competition.  The Lander Brewing Company walked away with the traveling trophy for their “Bighorn Ryebok” ale which was entered into the competition.  This is a big win, considering that the ownership and management is only a year
