Cheyenne Animal Control is reminding pet owners to leash and pick up after their dogs.

Two Cheyenne police officers were injured during an altercation with an allegedly drunk man at Frontier Mall Saturday afternoon, police said.

Twenty cows were killed when a cattle truck overturned late Thursday afternoon in west Cheyenne.

Officers are trying to locate the owner of two dogs who were found severely emaciated and near death in south Cheyenne.

Animal Control will be strictly enforcing this for the month of September and citations will be issued to offenders.
