Carbon Storage

The University of Wyoming has received a $9.77 million award from the U.S. Department of Energy for a project that would determine the feasibility of creating a commercial-scale geological storage complex for carbon dioxide in Wyoming.

A book edited by Ronald Surdam, the retired director of the University of Wyoming Carbon Management Institute (CMI), detailing a carbon dioxide storage project in southwest Wyoming has been released by a major national publisher of academic books.
