On Wednesday Laramie Police Department had shut down Harney St due to the discovery of a dead body.

Officials have not said whether the death is considered suspicious.

The boy and his big sister have been missing since September.

Ritthaler was last seen shortly after 12:30 p.m. Thursday getting into a dark-colored vehicle at the Coffee Cup in Moorcroft.

Foul play is not suspected in the death.

His physical description is consistent with that of the man who fell into the water on Sept. 7, authorities say.

He had been spending the summer with an uncle and was staying in a rental house near the Snake River.

Cadaver dogs led searchers to the area, which had previously been unnavigable due to snowmelt flooding.

Authorities say 27-year-old Tamlyn Delgado died in October 2018.

Her remains were found near Etna on May 18, and have since been positively identified, the attorney's office said.
