Wildland firefighting crews throughout the Cowboy State were busy over the weekend as fires began popping up around Wyoming.

Bighorn National Forest officials say two wildfires were recently sparked in the eastern portion of the forest.

Stage one restrictions were implemented July 20 in response to hot and dry conditions when fire danger was rated as extreme.

Several Forest Service roads in the area remain closed.

There are several campers that may be impacted.

Twenty-five firefighters continue to work and monitor the Lick Creek fire in the Bighorn National Forest.

Forest Road 147 and Trail 76 are temporarily closed with an exception of the public being allowed to remove any trailers.

There's a place in Wyoming that gets nearly 22 feet of snow every year, and it's not in Yellowstone National Park.
