In an effort to stem the rising tide of auto thefts the sheriff's office is asking people not to leave the keys in their cars or leave vehicles running unattended.
According to the Natrona County Sheriff's Office, at approximately 1:00 am on May 5, 27 year-old Mychal Goggles, was pulled over for going 65 mph in a 45 mph zone.
An affidavit of probable cause states police were called to a car dealership in Casper on March 4 for a report that a vehicle was stolen from their lot.
