The Laramie Downtown Development Plan Update continues June 27, 28, and 29. The consultant team will return to Laramie to develop plans for downtown as well as concepts for branding downtown as a destination for local residents, students and visitors.

You can be a part of the process of transforming downtown. Simply come to a one-hour meeting scheduled for Monday, June 27th at 5:30 PM at the Laramie Plains Museum, 603 Ivinson Ave.  Come prepared to answer these questions:

·         What are your favorite spots in downtown? What are the worst?
·         What potential do you see in downtown Laramie?
·         What is the future of 3rd Street?
·         What will see in downtown Laramie in 2015?
·         Is Laramie a Western Town with a University or a University Town in the West or is it something    else?
·         How do we spread the word on what Laramie has to offer?

Then see your input transformed into images in two days as the project team works to prepare a development plan presentation for Wednesday, June 29 at 5:30 at City Council Chambers at 406 Ivinson Ave. The exciting presentation will include designs for downtown streets and sites, before and after images of buildings and locations in downtown and a branding presentation showing how Laramie can tell its story.

The Downtown Development Plan Update is a collaborative project of Laramie Main Street, the City of Laramie, the Downtown Development Authority and the Downtown Laramie Business Association.
