Albany County School District #1 will provide free meals to students this summer. The district is partnering with the Summer Food Service Program to ensure that children have healthy meal options while school is not in session. Free lunches will be provided to students attending summer school as well as all other children who want to participate in the lunch.

Meals from Albany County School District #1 will be served at Linford Elementary School located at 120 S. Johnson Street. The lunch will be served from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. and is not limited to students going to summer classes. This year, the program begins June 16 and will run until August 8.

The Summer Food Service Program is designed to help students receive the nutrition they need during the summer break. Wyoming currently has over 50 locations participating in the program. All meals served will meet federal nutrition guidelines.
