Red Flag Warning Includes Areas Around Laramie and Cheyenne
Dry, hot and windy; the perfect combination to raise the threat of wildfire. That's the forecast for today and Friday. In response, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning until 7:00 PM Thursday for several areas in southeast Wyoming, that includes the cities of Laramie and Cheyenne. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
