The Powerball® jackpot is at a whopping $485 million and growing with an estimated cash payout of $327.7 million, the highest jackpot in the history of WyoLotto.

The Powerball® jackpot has not been over $400 million since February 2014 when it hit $425 million. WyoLotto launched last August.

Wyoming Lottery Corporation CEO Jon Clontz encouraged players to play responsibly. “We are seeing people flocking to retailers to get in on the next drawing for the jackpot. We encourage everyone to play what you can afford and don't go overboard.”

With the Powerball jackpot continuing to grow, players also should always sign their ticket and check it as soon as possible to avoid missing out on any prize they may have won, Clontz added. “While the $450 million jackpot attracts a lot of attention, Powerball offers eight other prize levels and WyoLotto players are winning.”

For last Saturday’s Powerball drawing, Wyolotto retailers sold 3,106 winning tickets, with a total of $39,189 won. The numbers from Saturday’s drawing were 5, 10, 21, 34, 58, and 33 with a Powerplay of x5. So far, 210,676 WyoLotto players have won a total of $1,156,216 since the launch of WyoLotto.

The next drawing is Wednesday night.

Powerball tickets cost $2 for each play, plus an additional $1 for Power Play. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:59 p.m. Ticket sales close at 7:59 p.m.
