Wyoming legislators were considering instating drafting restrictions for elderly drivers.

Representative Dave Zwonitzer, a republican from Cheyenne, chairs the committee that examined the issue Tuesday. He said none of the committee wanted to move forward with drafting a bill to strengthen requirements for the elderly.

Mary Lynne Shickich spoke to legislators on behalf of AARP Wyoming, and said "age itself is not a factor in a crash."

If lawmakers were to require age requirements in the future at what age should drivers be considered mature?
