CHEYENNE -- After 35 years have passed -- and you read our story about Dennis Erickson -- what are your feelings about the coach who spent just one season in Laramie before bolting for his "dream job" at Washington State?

If you didn't read that feature, you can do that right HERE.

We are joined on this week's Roaring Repeater Podcast by UW's all-time leading tackler, Galand Thaxton, who played for Erickson during that 1986 season. He talks about his feelings after hearing the news Erickson left and his emotions leading up to the game against Wazzu in '87, among many other things.

You don't want to miss that.

I was joined this week by Kyle Sedar. He sells advertising for Townsquare Media, but it took just a few conversations with the Casper native to figure out he was definitely in the know when it comes to Cowboy athletics.

So, we chatted about the upcoming Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas and the Cowboys chances of another surprise run. We also touched on a lot of UW football topics, including Craig Bohl's most recent offensive hires and lofty expectations that are following the head coach -- and his offense -- into year eight on the sidelines in Laramie.

Also, Wyoming's 2021 football schedule was released. That's right HERE.

Here's our stories on Bohl's latest hires:
* What will Wyoming's offense look like in '21?
* Wyoming's new OC likes what he sees from Sean Chambers
* Grant tasked with 're-engineering' UW's passing attack
* Polasek checks all the boxes
* Derek Frazier named new UW offensive line coach
* COLUMN: A semblance of balance heading to the high plains
* Tim Polasek named Wyoming's offensive coordinator

We talked some Texas Tech hoops, too.

Huh?

Well, if you saw our story on Douglas product Ty Larson and his unbelievable moment in Lubbock Thursday night, you would know exactly what I'm talking about. That story is right HERE.

Here's a question I posed to Kyle: "Are we proud of Larson if he takes that charge in a BYU uniform?"

I covered Larson his entire high school career in the Jackalope City while I was a sports editor at the Douglas Budget. Heck, his mom was my landlord and I may or may not have frequented the Waterhole, the family's bar, a time or two.

Despite that, the answer to my own question is big-time "no."

Let's be real, his parents own a bar. He wouldn't be going to BYU in the first place, right?
