The Minority Floor Leader of the Wyoming House of Representatives this week said she plans to re-introduce legislation to prompt a discussion about a state income tax.

Rep. Cathy Connolly (D-Laramie) said she thinks it's important to ''not shy away" from discussing both a personal and a corporate income tax as the state looks at ways to improve and stabilize state revenues.

So what do you think?

Would an income tax be the fairest and best way to adequately fund needed government programs? Or do you think the state's political leaders need to live within their means and stop looking at the public as a cash cow to fund wasteful spending?

We'll publish the results of our survey next week.
