Numerous media reports, including this one from hotair.com, are saying that Google Maps now includes an option for people to upload the location of police officers engaged in traffic enforcement,

Needless to say, many in law enforcement are not happy about the new feature. But supporters of the idea point out that the new features also include other factors impacting travel, and say the location of police officers is just another such factor.

Some supporters also see it as a freedom of speech issue.
