A bill to legalize marijuana at the federal level passed a U.S. House committee recently and may be considered by the full House,

If approved by the House, it would then move on to the U.S. Senate, where it faces an uncertain future. While several states, including Colorado, have legalized weed, it remains illegal under federal law. But so far the federal government has not taken any measures against states that have legalized the drug.

Federal legalization would not override state laws such as those in Wyoming that prohibit pot use and possession. But they would remove one argument that pot opponents at the state level have sometimes cited for keeping state anti-marijuana laws in place.

So what do you think?

Do you want Wyoming's congressional delegation to support or oppose pot legalization at the federal level? We'll publish the results of our survey in a few days.
