Here's the text of the NOAA alert:

A G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm watch has been issued for 16 May 2019 (UTC day) due to a series of CMEs expected to arrive beginning on 15 May and lasting through 17

This alert is due to a series of CME's that the prediction center detected that are incoming May 15 and 16. The most likely area for seeing the Northern Lights are between the green and yellow lines on the map which puts it not that far away from Casper.
