The WyoPreps Small School Game of the Week is from Class 1A-6 Man with top-ranked Little Snake River playing at No. 2 Dubois on Friday.

Both teams are 1-0 after comfortable victories in Week 1 of the season. The Rattlers won at previously fourth-ranked Meeteetse, 48-0. The Rams won a neutral site game in Ten Sleep over the Hulett Red Devils, 58-14.

These are two of the favorites in 6-man football in 2022.

Little Snake River ran for 258 yards in their win last week. They allowed minus-7 yards of total offense in the shutout of the Longhorns. They are led by Kannadis Peroulis and Hadley Myers, who rushed for 101 and 90 yards, respectively, in the first game. Peroulis scored two rushing TDs, while Myers had three.

Dubois finished with 263 yards on offense in the first game. The Rams were led by junior Wyatt Trembly. He ran for 157 yards and four touchdowns. Ryan Well had a TD pass, and Jonah Oard added two TD runs.

In the feature video, WyoPreps discussed the big matchup with LSR head coach Jack Cobb and Dubois head coach David Trembly. Both coaches looked back on the Week 1 victory, adjustments in practice this week, complemented each other’s teams, and both believe they are in for a great game.

This will be the 14th meeting in the football series between the two schools. According to wyoming-football.com, Little Snake River has the lead at 8-5. Two of the previous games were for state championships in 2011 and 2012. Each school won one. The Rattlers won last year’s game in Baggs, WY, 46-0.

The game will kick off at 3 p.m. in Dubois.
