The Weekend Movie Forecast is warming up with two more Oscar-nominated films opening in Laramie today. Four films nominated for Best Picture Academy Awards are now playing in Laramie along with one nominated for a Best Animated Film Oscar.

The four films in town nominated for Best Picture are "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Silver Linings Playbook," which both rate a B+, "Les Miserables" which rates a C+, and "Lincoln," which rates an A. Also opening for a second time in Laramie is the Oscar-nominated animated film "Wreck-It Ralph."

Another new film opening today is the crime drama "Broken City" which rates a C. Surprisingly, the action film "The Last Stand" starring Arnold Schwarzennager, which opened in most of the nation, did not open in Laramie today.

Advance tickets go on sale next week for the Spring Film Series at the Wyo Theater. The series begins on February 10th with the Academy Award-nominated film "The Sessions." Other award-winning films in the series include "Amour," "The Impossible," "Anna Karenina" and "A Royal Affair."
