Nevada Native Running for Albany County Commissioner [VIDEOS]

Peter Calderon -- a Nevada native and secretary of the Albany County Republican Party -- hopes to become the newest Albany County Commissioner.

Calderon says he is a fiscal conservative and will be a "hawk" when it comes to the budget. He identifies maintaining the function of county government as a top priority.

Calderon was a delegate to the Wyoming Republican Convention in Casper back in April.

"As a candidate, I'm bringing that ability, my knowledge of how government fundamentally operates," says Calderon. "It's important for the county commission to be able to talk to the state legislature."
