Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Near Sundance
A Saugus, Massachusetts man is dead following a motorcycle crash 12 miles west of Sundance Tuesday.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Paul Conti was headed west on U.S. Highway 14 around 12:30 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve in the highway, ran off the road and was thrown from his Harley.
Conti had a helmet with him, but was not wearing it at the time of the crash and died at the scene.
The Patrol says rider inattention and failing to maintain a lane of travel are being investigated as contributing factors in the crash.
