A 33-year-old Utah man is behind bars after Rock Springs Police allegedly caught him selling a variety of illegal drugs outside the Rock Springs Walmart Store.

According to a release from the Rock Springs Police Department, officers were called to the store at around 12:19 a.m. Thursday morning about a man who was trying to sell drugs outside the store.

Police say when they arrived on the scene they found 33-year-old David Thompson of Salt Lake City, who also had his minor step-daughter with him. Police say they found a black back-pack belonging to Thompson that contained a verity of illegal drugs, including felony amounts of meth, heroin, and pot.

Thompson has been charged with child endangerment as well as drug trafficking and felony drug possession. Police say the investigation is on-going.
