Josh Allen had a career-best year last year.  There are a lot of people who believe he should be on the cover of the popular game "Madden '22."  The cover has been leaked...

Did he make it?

If the leaked cover is real, then it doesn't look like he did...

Sadly, until we actually see the game on shelves, we really won't know for sure, but it definitely looks like it's going to be Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes on this year's cover.

It's hard to argue with.  As much as we hate to believe it, Tom Brady really is one of the best that has ever played the game (and at over 40 years old, he's still doing it better than many).  Patrick Mahomes is coming out of the gate as one of the most exciting to watch.  Already early in his career, he's able to brag that he's been to two Super Bowls and he even won one.  He was the league MVP, the Super Bowl MVP, a 1st Team All Star, and a Pro Bowl player.

They're pretty good...

As one person points out though, this might not be the regular cover...

If you notice in the top right corner of the cover it says "MVP Edition."  Does this mean there's another edition coming out?  Is there still hope that Josh Allen could be on the cover?

Honestly, I don't mind if he doesn't make it.  If you believe in curses, you may have heard of the famed "Madden Curse."  There is a history of players suffering some nasty season-ending injuries the year after they make it to the cover.

"Of the 22 players who have been selected to grace the cover of Madden games through this season, 16 have had troubling or abruptly-shortened seasons following their cover debut" -

If that's the case, I'd be just fine if he never made it to that cover.
