Laramie to Host Multiple Memorial Day Services
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2221 and Auxiliary American Legion Husted-Pendleton Post 14 and Auxiliary will host and sponsor a number of Memorial Day ceremonies this weekend and Memorial Day.
Memorial Day weekend activities will begin on Saturday, May 27 at 8 a.m. at the Greenhill Cemetery, where participants will be placing flags on military grave stones. Lunch will be provided for those who help to put out flags.
On Sunday, May 28, observances will begin with breakfast at the VFW, at 2142 East Garfield Street, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
