A Laramie woman has been arrested for fraud following reports from a local credit union of non-sufficient checks being deposited

After some investigation, 32 year old Mindy Lamborn was arrested for fraud by check. Lamborn has been released from the Albany County Detention Center after posting a $10,000 bond.

According to the press release, Fraud by Check is punishable by 10 years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both if the fraudulent check was for the sum of $1,000, or if the offender is convicted of fraud by check within any 60 day period in the state of Wyoming involving two or more checks totaling $1,000 or more.
