The Laramie Police Department arrested two people for methamphetamine and child endangerment charges on Thursday, Jan. 4.

Kevin Stephens, 44 and Robalee Gillen, 60, were arrested after the LPD, along with agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation, served a search warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of South 13th Street on Thursday.

Stephens was charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, unlawful clandestine lab operations, unlawful possession of laboratory equipment and endangering children. If all of the charges are brought to court and Stephens is convicted on all counts, he could face up to 65 years in prison and $80,000 in fines.

Gillen was charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and endangering children. If convicted on all counts, she could face up to 25 years in prison and $30,000 in fines.

According to officials at the Albany County Detention Center, Gillen posted bond and was released from the detention center Friday, Jan. 5. Stephens is still incarcerated at the detention center. An arraignment date has not yet been set.
