I got a wonderful email from Rene Sollars, who works at the Laramie Animal Shelter, saying that there are only two pets available for adoption this week!

While lots of critters have found wonderful homes, Millie and Elvis remain available for adoption. So, I'll highlight both of them in hopes of completely emptying the shelter, at least temporarily.

If you're looking for an exercise buddy to keep you motivated, Elvis might be your kind of dog (That's him in the photo above)!

"Elvis is a cute little Heeler cross. He's probably about 6-7 months old. He was found so we don't have any history on him. He is a fun, happy little guy that likes to smile. He will be neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped as part of his adoption" --Laramie Animal Shelter

Millie has been in the shelter for a little while now, and would probably prefer a more quiet home. Millie's new owner will likely have to put her on a diet, as she is slightly overweight.

"Millie is a lovely adult female. She is already spayed and vaccinated. She enjoys lap time. She could stand to increase her activity and decrease her calories to lose a few pounds. She is overweight and that makes it hard for her to groom. She does enjoy a good brushing, however. She has lived with children 6 and older but has not yet shared her home with other pets." --Laramie Animal Shelter

Meet these two cuties at the Laramie Animal Shelter during their regular hours weekdays from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. To see all available pets, please click here.
