The City of Laramie wants Laramie residents to sit back, relax and enjoy the show. The Municipal Band Concert Series will be back for summer 2018.

Beginning Wednesday, June 27th, the family friendly concerts will be held at the band shell in Washington Park at the corner of 18th and Sheridan every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.

The concert series is presented by the Laramie Municipal Band and sponsored by the Laramie Parks and Recreations Department. It will continue every Wednesday through August 1 and will include the annual Freedom Has a Birthday celebration on July 4th.

The Laramie Parks and Recreation Department says members of the band include community members from Laramie and Albany County along with select University of Wyoming musicians and high school performers, covering the gamut of almost seven decades of “band geeks” sharing their talent with the audiences and having a good time. The band is directed by Robert Belser, UW Director of Bands.

For more information, call Todd Feezer, Parks and Recreation Director at tfeezer@cityoflaramie.org or all 721.5260.

The concerts are free and open to the public.
