Laramie Farmers Market Opens Friday

Summer gets into full swing this Friday with the first Laramie Farmers Market of 2016.

The market will run from 3 p.m. through 7 p.m. Friday, July 1 in downtown Laramie. Expect street closures and pedestrians aplenty each Friday for the rest of the summer, as the market will be held at the same time each week through September.

Live music and beverages will be hosted in the First Street Plaza in addition to the numerous vendors who will line Grand Avenue between First and Second Streets. Over 50 vendors are listed on the Laramie Farmers Market website.

In fact, the event is so popular that organizers are no longer formally accepting applications. Vendors who would like to be placed on a wait list can email contact information and business details to laramiefarmersmarket@gmail.com.
