Laramie Burlesque Trope to Perform Judgment Day Show

The Tropes Burlesque of Laramie will be performing their Judgment Day Burlesque show on Saturday, May 21.  The show will be held at the Laramie Civic Center.  Doors will open at 7:30pm and the show will start at 8:30pm, the show is ages 18 and up.  Tropes Burlesque will be providing a cash bar that will start when doors open and will be running throughout the show.  The performance will include musical acts, singing, dancing, and a light show.

The Tropes Burlesque is a private troupe started by Ginny Woolfe who is also the madam of the show.

Actress in the show and UW theater student, Samantha Lewan said, “ People from around the town who just want to perform are in the show, so there is a wide variety of talent”.

The performers choreograph their own pieces and put together their own music and costumes.  All acts in the show are based upon the theme Judgment Day or Doomsday.  The troupe encourages the audience to have a good time during the show and get a little rowdy.
