Anthony Johnson of Point Guard Ministries has teamed up with several local organizations to present the Gloryland Pastor’s Choir in Concert on Friday night.

This free event is open to anyone. It’s being promoted as a ‘Healing and Appreciation’ community event and goods drive featuring the Gloryland Pastor’s Choir. It will be on Friday, Dec. 6 at the Laramie High School Theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. It starts at 7 p.m.

Johnson stopped by the Laramie Live studios Tuesday and visited with David Settle about this event, how it came together, the Gloryland Pastor’s Choir, working with Family Promise of Albany County, and more, including some of the very generous sponsors that are making this free event possible.

Family Promise of Albany County will be collecting items to help out those in need around the area. Donations they are looking for include diapers of any size, diaper cream, baby wipes, other baby items, feminine pads, shampoo, lotion, hand soap, dish soap, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent.

Johnson has teamed up with Toyota of Laramie, Uni-Wyo Federal Credit Union, the Hilton Garden Inn, Chi Alpha Campus Ministry, Campus Ventures, FCA, and Navigators, and other donors to make this event happen.
